Gonzalo Rojas - 2003 - Chile
Gonzalo Rojas Pizarro (born December 20, 1917) is a Chilean poet. His work is part of the continuing Latin American avant-garde literary tradition of the twentieth century.
He has been awarded the 5th of June 1992 Chilean National Prize for Literature, the Premio Reina Sofia by the King of Spain and the 2003 Cervantes Prize. He and Nicanor Parra are considered the greatest living poets in Chile.
