Welcome to Latino Books Y Mas. We have a few listing now but we will be adding many more treasures in the next few months. We are located in the heart of beautiful downtown Palm Springs, California. We are the premier book store in the Palm Springs area for Books in English and Spanish by Latin American Authors, Latin American Literature, Mexican Folk Art, Latino Music, Movies from the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema, Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo prints. Our literature selection of over 2000 titles includes the very best of Latin American titles/authors that accurately reflect themes, characters, and customs unique to U.S. Latino culture.

We are very proud to present two great authors signing their new books. Victor Villasenor just signed his new book, "Crazy Loco Love". Gustavo Arellano author of "Ask A Mexican" also just signed his new book, "Orange County: A Personal History" on Thursday, October 30th. Both Victor's and Gustavo's book can be purchased online.

I am glad that many of our customers and friends were able to join us for a "dia de los muertos" procession from our bookstore to the Palm Springs Art Museum on Saturday, November 1st at 11:00 a.m. You can also see some of those photos on MySpace.

We were very happy to host the Felicita and the authors of "Teatro Chicana: A Collective Memoir and Selected Plays" by authors Laura E. Garcia, Sandra M. Gutierrez, and Felicitas Nunez. The book signing was on Saturday, November 22nd at 6:00 p.m.

Author Dennis Rano will do a book signing and reading from his book, "Escape To Paradise." Book signing is at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January, 24th at Latino Books Y Mas on 180 E.
